4 Different Educational Funds Available
La Plata County High School Graduate Fund
A fund for young adults out of high school who plan on attending Fort Lewis College
La Plata County Non-Traditional Student Fund
A fund for older adults who plan on attending Fort Lewis College to further education
La Plata County Training and Certificate Fund
A fund for women for training or classes they otherwise couldn’t afford
Educational Opportunity Fund
A fund for those who might not be ready for college, but would benefit from training
Application Requirements:
Applicants must be a client of the Women’s Resource Center
(simply come to our office and fill out an intake form).
Applicants must be a resident of La Plata County for a minimum of one year.
Applicants must be working or can demonstrate a strong work ethic.
Funds awarded must be used at an accredited organization or educational institution.

Applications are accepted and reviewed monthly.
Applications are due the first Thursday of each month.
Read the application requirements carefully.
Incomplete applications will be denied.
You will be notified of an award decision by the last day of the month.
